Right now we're in the middle of the one week when peaches are ripe. Next week they'll all be gone. I have no reason to eat any store bought peaches anymore; I've been completely spoiled by having not only two peach trees in the yard, but one of them is venerated Indian Blood Peach. If you have never tried one, you simply must; they are the best.
